How do you combat burnout? I find myself getting stressed out more than ever this year and it's not healthy 😭

The way I combat burnout is to indulge in my hobbies or spend time with my family. Sometimes, spending time with my family involves me doing stuff around the house for the wife and kides, but in the end, it's not *work*. My hobbies for example are: Writing Newsletters / Blogs, Posting Military Current Events on Social Media, trying out new software via VPS, watching movies, etc. Make sure it's something **YOU** enjoy doing. Otherwise, you're just throwing gasoline into the fire. My previous hobbies used to be: working on cars, going to car meets, working out, etc. Hobbies come and go, some stick longer than others. Some stick forever. You just have to discover yourself. If you need someone to talk to, I am here as well!

I just binge watch a bunch of Avengers Movies and some odd titles while I devour unhealthy amounts of carbs. Ramen is my biggest weakness.

I burn out for the whole year and then go hunting. Nothing else satisfies me as much anymore.
It's simple, it's time consuming, it's an investment, and it's fulfilling.

I like to spend time in the quiet. Drink tea while I browser the internet or make stuff craftsy. Tunes out all the chaos at work.
