The way I combat burnout is to indulge in my hobbies or spend time with my family.
Sometimes, spending time with my family involves me doing stuff around the house for the wife and kides, but in the end, it's not work.
My hobbies for example are: Writing Newsletters / Blogs, Posting Military Current Events on Social Media, trying out new software via VPS, watching movies, etc.
Make sure it's something YOU enjoy doing. Otherwise, you're just throwing gasoline into the fire.
My previous hobbies used to be: working on cars, going to car meets, working out, etc.
Hobbies come and go, some stick longer than others. Some stick forever. You just have to discover yourself.
If you need someone to talk to, I am here as well!
