Dr. Kevin Rhodes has been confirmed by the Senate to lead the White House's Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP), making him the first permanent head of the office in six years. As a senior adviser to OFPP's parent agency since February, Rhodes has already led efforts to restructure federal procurement, including overhauling the Federal Acquisition Regulation and implementing executive orders to consolidate government purchases and prioritize commercial products, all aimed at reforming how the government acquires $1 trillion in goods and services annually.
