Will Gov ever use Linux?

Sometimes I think we are overpaying for the Microsoft Ecosystem with the Federal Government. Factor in privacy concerns, I mean Microsoft 11 is riddled with AI snooping your every move.
Why doesn't the government consider migrating to Linux? They can have engineers pretty much make a Gov Distro and control every component of it easily. Would be really great for OpSec and handling confidentiality.

Ghost I think the problem is they think the average worker is too stupid honestly. They don't think we'd be able to adapt.
I mean seriously, the Air Force has classes on Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc that's mandatory for the Civilian workforce.
We learn this crap in middle school.

Karl that's true. I'm tired of being talked to like I'm a child. I fix a lot of the computer issues at my work and help others. If we have enough people that are capable like that in troubleshooting, we should all be able to adopt easily.
