Karl maybe your promotion can offset the gas. If the promotion is big enough, and you’re closer to family, I can only see a win - win.
I drive 2 hours to work every day and it is exhausting, but I cannot fathom living closer to the job I’m currently at. The place right outside of the base is a dump and schools are garbage.
