Karl https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/69961059/american-federation-of-government-employees-afl-cio-v-trump/?filed_after=&filed_before=&entry_gte=&entry_lte=&order_by=desc Mentioned via Reddit: More interesting activity on this case at both the District Court and Circuilt Court levels on Monday, July 21. At the District Court level, on Monday the administration (defendants) filed a move to dismiss the case. I doubt Judge Illston will accept that. The same day, the plaintiffs filed a motion to quash Judge Illston’s partial protective order allowing the administration to file the ARRPs under seal. The plaintiffs also filed a motion to shorten the time the administration was allowed to file the ARRPs. In short, the plaintifs clearly want unsealed ARRPs and they want them NOW. Since today June 23 is the due date Judge Illston ordered the sealed ARRPs to be delivered to her, I’d assumie she’s going to respond sometime later today. (Just an assumption based on court schedule.) In the meantime, on Monday at the 9th Circuilt court of Appeals level, the administration filed for a writ of mandamus and/or prohibition in an attempt to get the District Court (meaning Judge Illston) to cease and desist further action on this case. We’ll just have to see where this goes.
